Before deciding to litigate

What does it cost to continue the dispute?

Winning in court does not always mean a worthwhile outcome: costs, delays and the ability to collect payment all matter. Negotiations may be faster and less expensive.

I suggest comparing both scenarios in the calculator before deciding which route makes sense for your situation.

This opens an external service. Its methodology section names the Mediation Center at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. The calculation does not guarantee the outcome of a dispute or replace checks on solvency and legal restrictions.

Three short answers

Does mediation replace court?

A mediator helps the parties discuss options but does not decide the dispute for them. Any litigation engagement is agreed separately.

Is a settlement guaranteed?

No. The process may end without agreement.

Should I send documents now?

A short description is enough for the first enquiry. We will agree document access and confidentiality arrangements separately.
